Couples Shoot (outdoor location)
We can meet at a location of your choice (in and/or around Cardiff) and create your images. Usually the evening time is a good time as the light is more interesting and a nice location will add character & interest.

Engagement Shoot
If you are newly engaged & would like to document the occasion, then get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.

Portrait
Personal portrait photography. At the moment I am using natural light and so the photo session would be outdoors at a location you specify.

Family or Pet Portrait
If you would like a portrait shoot of the family and/or pets then we can organise a session. Please get in touch for more info.

Hi, I’m Tim, a passionate photographer based in Cardiff, with over 20 years of experience capturing moments behind the lens. What started as a keen interest has grown into a deep love for storytelling through photography. Now, I’m excited to offer my services for couples’ shoots and engagement sessions, creating beautiful, natural, and timeless images that reflect your unique connection.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, allowing your personalities to shine through in every shot. Whether it’s a romantic countryside session, a cityscape backdrop, or a cozy at-home shoot, I’m here to capture the essence of your love story.
I currently serve Cardiff and the surrounding areas, traveling up to 70 mile radius (possibly more) to bring your vision to life. As I continue my journey into wedding photography, I’d love the opportunity to document your special moments. APPROACH
How I work
I am an introvert by nature and so I understand that some people are shy when in front of a camera. I will work with you to create natural looking images that are not 'staged' where you are comfortable in the moment. We can discuss your ideas and requirements in a short conversation beforehand and maybe swap sample images that you (or both of us) like. I like to be outdoors in nature and so I'm especially keen to travel to spots in the country or seaside to do an on location shoot.

Good Gear
I shoot with the Sony camera system. I have good lenses that give good results in natural light and have professional experience editing photos.
Requirements
We will have a pre-session virtual meeting to discuss your requirements. At this point you could also collect images that you like and share them with me.
Authentic Images
Get posed shots if you wish, but alongside that I can also take a documentary approach to capture everything in an authentic way.

How long will the photo session last?Usually a session will be 1 to 2 hours, but can be longer if you wish.

How many images will I get ?FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.

Do you have insurance ?Yes. I have liability insurance and I am DBS checked (and clear).

Which camera system do you use ?I use a Sony A7IV with a 35mm and 85mm prime lenses. Each lens can double at a focal range 1.5 times it's size using a cropped sensor mode. Both lenses are super fast and sharp even in moderately low light conditions which can negate the need for a flash and is also capable of shallow depth of field.
